Peacefully on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Kensington Long Term Care in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Josina (predeceased by first wife Patricia « Paddy »). Loving father of Paul (Sara) and Mark (Rosa). Proud grandfather of Jakob. He will be sadly missed by many family and friends. The family will receive friends at Cardinal Funeral Home, 366 Bathurst St. (just north of Dundas St.), on Friday, December 14th from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Funeral Service to be held at the Cardinal Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, December 15th at 11 a.m. followed by a private cremation. Herman will be laid to rest with his first wife Paddy in Courtenay, BC. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be gratefully appreciated.
