Obituary for
Henrietta Ann Magee
It is with great sadness that we must say goodbye to Henrietta Magee (nee King) after a short but courage battle with cancer, she passed
away peacefully on August 9th, 2018.
We mourn the loss of our Wife, Mother, Nanna, Sister, Aunt and friend.
Etta leaves behind her beloved husband of 64 years Derek.
She will be sorrowfully missed by her children Derek (Sara), Teresa (Alex) and Gerald, her predeceased son Hugh Patrick, her grandchildren that she dotted on, Connor (Megan), Sydney and Kialeigh, her sister Teresa (Walter) of Liverpool, England.
Predeceased by her siblings, Patrick, Kathleen, Philomena and Michael. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces,nephews, her family
near and far and her sister-in-laws Rachel and Patricia.
Born and raised in Belfast, Northern Ireland, Derek and Etta came to Canada to start a new life with their young child in 1956.
Etta loved life. She was a hard worker, loved to travel and always loved to spend time with her family. We will miss the tiny steadfast rock of our family. Rest in peace until we meet again.
Funeral Mass for Etta will be held on Friday August 17, 2018 at 10:30 am at St. Mary’s Church, 66 Main Street,Brampton. In Lieu of Flowers, it is Etta’s wish that memorial donations be made to ALAS Dufferin,(alasdufferin.ca) an organization that assists her granddaughter Sydney and a charity that was close to her heart.
