Hoekstra, Henny (formerly Crans)
Peacefully passed away at home surrounded by her family on Friday May 11 2018. Beloved wife of the Late Sipke Crans (1978) and Ted Hoekstra (2001).
Loving and devoted mother to Edna Visneskie (Dave Jaklitsch). Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Alyssa, Stephanie also remembered by her daughter in law Linda Crans. Fondly remembered by Mike and Linda Stumpf. Survived by her sisters Jean Steckly Wassing and Pat Simmions Wassing and her brothers Steve Wassing (Elaine Krans), Rick Wassing, and Harko Wassing (Geppie Wassing Pietersma). Sadly missed by her Sisters in law Henny Wassing Vanderwal, Anna Wassing Bos, Jenny Wassing Heuvelman and Cora Wassing Viewenga. Brother in law Egbert Weerd and her many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her husband Sipke and Ted and her son Allan (2018) and her daughter Rosemary in infancy (1962). Also predeceased by her sisters Trijn Weerd and Marsha Vanderveen brothers John, Mans, Dirk, Arnold and Johan Barteld Wassing. Also predeceased by her brothers in law Rudy Vanderveen, Sol Steckly and Roy Simmons and her Sister in law Honor Wassing.
Family and friends will be received at the Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Friday May 18, 2018 from 11 – 1 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at the Memory Gardens Cemetery.
