OBITUARY
Hendrik Anthonie Ryper
September 27, 1929 – December 4, 2018
Dad moved from this world into the precious arms of his heavenly Father on Tuesday, December 4, 2018. He is now singing with the angels!
He was predeceased by his beloved son, Henry (1991). He leaves behind the love of his life, Jannie, his children, Anna & Albert, John & Rita, Wilma & Jack, Joanne & Roy, Sharon & Dan, Sandra & Mel, Jennifer, Noella & Tim and Heidi & Jarvis, 25 grandchildren and their partners, and 26 great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind his sister Mien and extended family members in the Netherlands and Canada.
Dad was a man of great faith. He loved God, God’s creation and God’s church. He was deeply committed to his wife, and family. He had an incredibly generous and accepting spirit. He was always willing to help.
Dad had a very large presence in our lives. He will be dearly missed.
A Celebration of Life took place on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at the Alberni Valley Christian Reformed Church. In lieu flowers, donations may be made to Resonate Global Mission, specially the work of Naji and Anne Zaki- Umran.
