Helen Antonio (Dixon)
ANTONIO, Helen (Dixon) – May 1930 – November 2018. Helen passed away peacefully on November 4th with her family by her side. Beloved wife of the late Alfred (2010). Loving mother of Lyn Kelly (Ron, Rochester, NY) and Louise Antonio (Randy Heimbecker). Proud Nana of three grandsons Jason Quagliata (Rochester, NY), Andrew Quagliata (Susanne, Ithaca, NY), and Dana Heimbecker (Kristina, Toronto). Adoring Grandnan of three great-granddaughters, Grace, Stella, and Sloan. Sister of the late Alfred Dixon (Shirley), Doris Scott (Jack), Sister in law of Vito Antonio (Arvilla) and Chuck Antonio. Aunt of Patricia Antonio, Estelle Crillelli and many other nieces, nephews and cousins in the United States, England and Australia. Helen was active in several community groups. As a Red Cross Water Safety Instructor, she taught for many years in local programs, including 20 years as a Boys and Girls Club volunteer. She was also a volunteer at the YWCA and past president of the Board of Directors and an active member of the Niagara Falls Music Society Fireside Theatre for many years.

Helen has chosen cremation and a private interment has taken place. A Service in her honor will be held at MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main St., on Saturday November 17th. Visitation at 10:00 am followed by a service at 11:30 am. Reception at Morse & Son Event Centre immediately following. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Boys and Girls Club or the YWCA.
