Obituary of Helen Webber
Peacefully surrounded by the love of her family, at Summit Place in Owen Sound on Sunday, January 21st, 2018. Helen Margaret Webber (nee Smith), of Owen Sound, at the age of 96 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Jiggs Webber. Loving mother of Pat Farley, of Mississauga, Hugh Webber (Catherine), of London and Robert Webber (Catherine), of Owen Sound. Proud grandmother of 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Verna Stewart (Orval, Vidal Chebott, Isobel O’Leary, Kay Alexander and Bruce Smith (Marg). Predeceased by her parents, Albert and Emma Smith; her son-in-law, Elvin Farley; her siblings, Beatrice Smith, Evelyn Seaman (Allan), Cecil Smith (June), Alvin Smith (Trudy); her in-laws, Roy Chebott, Bob O’Leary, Lois Smith, Ben Webber (Lorraine), Winnie Robertson (Norm), Hugh Webber (Dawn) and Bert Webber (Dawn).
A Funeral Service for Helen Webber will be held in the Chapel of the BRIAN E. WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 250 – 14th Street West, Owen Sound, Ontario N4K 3X8 (519-376-7492) on Thursday, January 25th, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Dr. Keith Sweeting. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Owen Sound. If so desired, the family would appreciate donations to the First Baptist Church, the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice as an expression of sympathy.
