It is with great sadness that the of family of the late Helen Sweetland announce her passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook on Tuesday June 26th2018 at the age of 92 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children Keith (Denise) Sweetland in Conception Bay South, Kathy Sweetland (Darryl Murley) in Humber Valley Resort. Also leaving to mourn her brother Lloyd Collett in Arnold’s Cove, sister Rosalind Lockyer in St. John’s, six grandchildren, one greatgrandchild, her special friends on Crane Place, her birthday girls and a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Charles Sweetland and her son Kevin Sweetland. Visitation will take place at Russell’s funeral home on Thursday June 28th from 2-4 P.M. and 7-9P.M. The funeral service will take place from St. Augustine’s Anglican Church on Friday June 29th at 2 P.M. with interment in the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery on the Hansen Highway. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Anglican Church Memorial Fund in Helen’s memory.
