SHAUGHNESSY, HELEN (George-McNaughton)
Peacefully at home with family by her side on Friday March 23, 2018 Helen Shaughnessy (George-McNaughton) at the age of 95. Cherished wife of the late James Harold ‘Shag’ Shaughnessy. Loving mother of Donna (Paul Duggan), Gary and Diane (Fred MacDonald). Much loved grandmother of Patrick (Ann), Laurie (Randy) and Jennifer (Michal) Duggan, Michael and Sarah Shaughnessy and Jennie (Chris), Sean and Megan (Shawn) MacDonald. Great Grandmother to Alison, James and Skyla, Liam, Landon and Hunter and Darby, Rhys. Devoted Aunt to her many nieces and nephews. Sister of the late Theresa (late Rene Monty), Harry, Fergus (Marie), Joan (late Chuck Tompkins) and Jayne (late Wally Williamson). Daughter of the late John and Gertrude George and niece of the late Josephine and Alex McNaughton. The family will celebrate Helen’s life and interment privately at a later date. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make a donation to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute.
