Passed away on Monday, January 8, 2018. Reunited with her husband Mike (2016). Cherished mother of Dan, Bob, Mary, Joe and Debbie. Helen will always be remembered by her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Pre-deceased by her parents Samuel and Dora (nee Romanick). Survived by her sister Mary Fortais. Foster parent to many, Volunteer at Met Hospital cancer clinic and Hospice of Windsor/Essex, daughter of one of the founding members of The Descent of the Holy Ghost Church and long-time member and contributor. Special thanks to Aspen Lake, Sandwich Towne Neighbourhood for all the special care and great memories. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. (519) 253-7234 on Thursday, January 11, 2018 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Prayers at 7:30pm. Friends and family will be received on Friday, January 12, 2018 at The Descent of the Holy Ghost Church for visitation from 9am until time of Funeral Service at 10am. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens. Donations in memory of Helen may be made to a charity of your choice.
