Helen Josephine Tomkins (McCauley), former long-time resident of Skunk’s Hallow in St. Marys, passed away at Stratford General Hospital on December 29, 2017 at the age of 89.
Wife of the late Harold Tomkins (Oct. 18, 1992). Mother of Jeff Tomkins, Steve Tomkins and partner Nicki Mitani, Doug Tomkins, Wendy Hedberg and husband Bob Hedberg, and Terry Tomkins. Grandmother of Adam Tomkins, Krista Tomkins, Ashley Tomkins, Graham Tomkins, Heather Tomkins, Michael Hedberg, Mark Hedberg, Ryan Tomkins, Rene Tomkins, Jordan Tomkins, Ellen Corriveau Tomkins, Alexander Corriveau Tomkins. Survived by sister-in-law Val Mainland and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her siblings Fred McCauley, James McCauley, Jay McCauley, Allan McCauley, Verna Coddington, and Joan Ogden and in-laws Lloyd Tomkins, Howard Tomkins, Dorothy McKay.
Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held in St. Marys Cemetery in the spring 2018.
