Helen Frances LeBlanc
1947-2018
After a brief illness,
Helen Frances LeBlanc, 70, of Port Elgin,
passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, January 29,
2018. Born in Montague, PE, Helen was a daughter of the late
Gerald and Thelma (Sanderson) McCarron.
Helen was a dedicated Teacher’s
Assistant with the Port Elgin Regional School. She enjoyed
gardening and puttering about her yard. She was a devoted
and caring wife, mother and grandmother.
Helen will be deeply missed by her
husband of fifty-one years, Gary LeBlanc, Port Elgin; a daughter, Pam
LeBlanc, Port Elgin; two sons, Stephen LeBlanc, Port Hawksbury, NS,
and Christopher LeBlanc, Calgary, AB; two grandchildren, Keirsten and
Sophia; her siblings, Sonny (Bev) McCarron, Jimmy (Diana), Pamela
(Myles) Trenholm, Kathy (Jerry) Wry, Ann (Terry) Murphy, Irene (Mike)
Wells, and Donna (Lindsey) Hay, as well as several nieces and
nephews.
Helen was predeceased by her
parents.
Arrangements are under the care and
guidance of Jones Funeral Home’s Port
Elgin location, 3 W. Main Street, Port Elgin,
(506-538-2241). Honouring the wishes of the family, there is
to be no visitation or funeral services at this time.
