DUPUIS, Hector Lawrence “Larry”
We are saddened to announce his passing on July 30, 2018 at the Hamilton General Hospital in his 95th year. For 74 years, the beloved husband of the late Alfreda (December 2017). Father to 3 daughters, Linda (John) Sikich, Patricia (Brian) McManus and Sharon (Brad) Cooper. Cherished grandfather to Nicole (Robb), Jon, James (Pam), Ian (Kim), Alicia (Don), Kelly (Sean) and 5 great-grandchildren. Survived by his sister Betty and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his 2 sisters and 1 brother. Larry was lucky to have retired at 59 years old from Sears and enjoyed a long retirement. Along with his wife, they travelled, wintered in Florida, and enjoyed activities at various seniors clubs. He was past president of Club 60 and recipient of the Hamilton Senior of the Year Award in 2001. His jokes and the joy of helping others will be missed. Cremation has taken place. To Honour his love of outdoors and picnics, his daughters invite family and friends to celebrate his life on Friday, August 10, 2018 at 1pm at Stoney Creek Battlefield Park, 77 King St. W., Stoney Creek. Please feel free to bring a lawn chair, pictures and memorabilia to share. Pavilion will protect us in case of rain. Notes of sympathy and condolence may be left at www.donaldvbrown.ca
