CURTIS, Harold George
Peacefully surrounded by his loving family and friends, at his home on Saturday, January 6th, 2018. Harold passed away after a courageous battle with lung cancer in his 65th year. Beloved husband of Sandy for 45 years. Proud and loving father of Rebecca. Devoted grandpa of Harrison. He is predeceased by his son Christopher and his parents Tom Curtis and Dorothy Scholl. Brother of Darlene (Bob), Barb, Lynne (Keith) and David (Kelly). Brother-in-law of of Richard, Colleen (Jim). Son-in-law of Jean Beemer. Dear son of « Ma » Elva Curtis and special pops to Scott Adams. Harold was a long time employee of Hussman, past treasurer for the Ontario Steel Headers Club in South Hampton and the past treasurer for the Brant Senior Day Centre. Harold enjoyed fishing, gardening and nature. At Harold’s request cremation has already taken place and arrangements have been entrusted to the HILL and ROBINSON FUNERAL HOME and CREMATION CENTRE, 519-752-2543. A Celebration of life will be held on January 20th, from 1-4 p.m. at 25 Charlotte street – Side Door. Donations to the Stedman Community Hospice would be greatly appreciated.
