Harold James Knowles passed away at St. Marys Memorial Hospital on December 7, 2018 at the age of 86.
Beloved husband of Donna (Drane), whom he married on June 30, 1962. Father of Brenda Lee Alderson (Ron Kerr), grandfather of Dale Robinson and Troy Robinson. Brother of Fred and his wife Jean and remembered by nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Orland, Elywin, Don and Winston “Bill.”
Harold worked as an auto mechanic, obtaining his license in 1958; which was his occupation and hobby; being a classic car buff. Member of the Perth Regiment Veterans St.Marys Br.236 Royal Canadian Legion.
Visitation at the Andrew L. Hodges Funeral Home, 47 Wellington St. S. St. Marys, on Monday, Dec. 10 from 7 – 9 p.m and again on Tuesday, Dec. 11 at the ST. MARYS UNITED CHURCH, 85 Church St. S., St. Marys, from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:30 a.m. with Rev. Doug Loucks officiating. Cremation to follow. A reception will take place in the church hall after the funeral service.
Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the St.Marys Br.236 Royal Canadian Legion.
