Hans Wolfgang P. Winckler
November 25, 1941 – November 10, 2018
Hans Winckler was born in Germany on Nov. 25, 1942 and passed away on Nov. 10, 2018.
Hans’ life was filled with love for his family, his wife Adel Elias, his sister Susan and her family, his children Tara and Naomi and grandchildren, Corbin and Sebastian. Hans worked in accounting but lived to play Bridge. He found joy in nature, canoeing, hiking mountains and valleys and got much satisfaction from building his garden and keeping his home. Hans was a pragmatic and creative builder and fixer of thing in need of repair. He is mourned by his family, and sorely missed by friends and the Campbell River Bridge Club. Many thanks to the staff at Yucalta and Hospice for their generous care.
Hans’ Memorial Service will be held on Nov. 28, 2018 at 10:30 AM at Sutton’s Funeral Home at 502 So. Dogwood St., Campbell River.
