Greta Mae Ells
1923-2018
Greta Mae Ells – 95, of Evergreen Home for Special
Care, formerly of Sheffield Mills, passed away on Thursday, March 22,
2018. Greta was the daughter of the late Leander and Florence
(Beckwith) Ells and was born in Lower Canard. She lived most of her
life in Sheffield Mills with her siblings. She worked hard all her
life at various farm jobs doing manual labour where she was known to
be a fair but a hard taskmaster. Greta always had a great interest in
the people living in Sheffield Mills and the surrounding area. She
continued to keep up to date with all the local news until she passed
away. Greta is survived by her younger sister, Margaret Brown,
Kentville, formerly of Upper Canard; several nieces and nephews and
their children, whom she was very fond. She was predeceased by her
brothers, Ted, Stuart and Alfred; sisters, Florence, Vesta and
Beth. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held
from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, 2018 in the White Family Funeral
Home, Kentville. A graveside service will be held at a later date.

Resident’s Society or to a charity of your choice.
