Obituary for Greta Judith Ann Marriott
Marriott, Greta Judith Ann – 75 of Bible Hill passed away peacefully with her husband by her side on February 14, 2018 at the Colchester East Hants Health Centre. She was the daughter of the late Cecil and Maud Bevis. Greta was a devoted mother, wife and was loved by everyone she knew. She enjoyed travelling the country and making many stops at local yard sales. Greta also loved to cook, bake and spending her winters in Florida with her husband and friends. She is survived by her husband of 59 years Kenneth, son, Kevin, sister, Shirley and brother, Kenny. Greta was predeceased by her son, Stephen, sisters- Helen and Sylvia; brothers – Stan, Louie and Cecil. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512, Willow St., Truro. A reception will follow the service. Interment will take place in Spring 2018 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Lower Sackville. In lieu of flowers, donations in Greta’s memory may be made to the Lung Association.
