Mr. Gregory William Bent – Port Hawkesbury / Liverpool
BENT Gregory William 59 of Port Hawkesbury and formerly of Liverpool passed away peacefully at the Strait Richmond Hospital on January 15, 2018.
Born in Liverpool, he was a son of the late Douglas and Hazel (Welsh) Bent.
In his younger years he and some friends headed West to seek employment, Greg worked in construction for many years, but eventually made his way back home to Nova Scotia. He touched the lives of everyone that he met throughout his life.
He is survived by his wife Karen Riley, Victoria B.C.; sister Gloria Mac Leod, Bridgewater; and will be missed by his nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by sisters Karen LeFort, Patsy Wong and Patricia at a young age; brother Douglas E. Bent.
A private Family graveside service will take place at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made to the Liver Foundation of Nova Scotia.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Green’s Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury.
