Obituary for
Graden Oliver Roy Shiner
It is with profound sadness that the family of the late Graden Oliver Roy Shiner announces his passing. Graden passed away from the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre, Baie Verte, NL on Wednesday, April 25th, 2018 at the age of 70 years.
Predeceased by his birth parents – Adam and Blanche Penney; adoptive parents – Walter and Blanche Shiner; brothers – Selby Penney and Roy Penney; sister – Shirley Burden.
Left with fond and loving memories is his wife – Bernette Shiner; siblings – Willis Penney (Vivian), Melvin Penney (Lucy), Myrtis Mitchell (Gord), Lester Penney (Ruth), Leander Penney (Elsie) and Ross Penney; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Public visitation will take place from Faith Pentecostal Church, Burlington, NL on Friday, April 27th, 2018 from 10:00AM to 4:00PM, continuing on Saturday, April 28th, 2018 from 10:00AM to 9:00PM.
Pastor Frank Newbury will conduct the Funeral Service from Faith Pentecostal Church, Burlington, NL, on Sunday, April 29th, 2018 at 3:00PM. Interment to follow at Bethel Pentecostal Cemetery, Smith’s Harbour, NL.
As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to assist the family via the Foster Assistance Program at www.fosterfuneralhome.ca.
