Gracie Lynn was born to Lonnie and Holly Reimer at the Bethesda Hospital in Steinbach, Manitoba, January 16, 2016.
Our little darling’s Maker sent His angels to give her wings in the evening of May 20, 2018 with her family close by.
We had 28 months to hold, hug, and love our little daughter and sister. Gracie was a blue eyed, blonde and energetic little girl. Amos, Hannah, and Oliver were her much-loved playmates and she would often be looking for her boots so as not to be left behind. Cleaning out Mommy’s dishwasher and purse were among her favorite activities. When Daddy came home from work, Gracie would be the first to race to the door calling « Hi Daddy »! Last evening Gracie was an enthused little helper, watering the trees with her two little buckets.
During our stay in Nashville, Gracie developed a strong bond with Bampa Isaacs and Bampa Reimers, taking her first steps during this time. She let us know when she needed a cangy (candy) or a gink (drink) and her increasingly frequent « ugs’ included everyone.
Left with many precious memories are her parents, Lonnie & Holly Reimer, Amos, Hannah & Oliver; grandparents: Wayne & Leone Isaac, Mitchell, MB; Brian & Ruth Reimer, Steinbach, MB; uncles and aunts: Dalys & Carissa Isaac, presently in Russia, Rendell & Kim Beiler, Harrisburg, AR, Gerrol & Shanda Isaac, Kirby & Carmelle Isaac, of Steinbach, MB, Carla & Jamie Penner, Grandview, MB, Rick & Aggie Reimer, Vanderhoof, B.C., Shane & Monica Reimer, Matt & Vangie Reimer, of Steinbach, MB. Cousins: Brett, Kade, Daman, Alynna, Zeke, Josie, Edison, Slater, Benjamin, Chloe, Elle, Lindsey, Alec, Myles, Seth, Molly, Cheyanne, Zachary, Taylor, Abigail.
Gracie was predeceased by one infant cousin Isabelle.
We, as a family, appreciate all the support and condolences we have received. We also wish to express our gratitude for the compassionate efforts of the emergency response team.
The funeral service will be on Friday, May 25, 10:00 a.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB with the viewing held at 9:00 a.m.
