It is with deep regret we announce the passing of Grace Willamine Primus (Gray) on April 19, 2018 at the Wetaskiwin Hospital and Care Centre. Grace was born west of Rocky Mountain House on April 1, 1931. Grace was predeceased by her father, Emanual (Manny) Gray; mother, Melisa Gray (Stotts); younger brother, Archibald (Archie) Gray; and her younger sister, Joan Koenig. Grace is survived by her husband, Carl Primus; sisters, Helen Primus (Beaumont) and Kathlyn Kosewon (Stettler); Jean Giles (Tees); as well as many nieces and nephews and their spouses; and great nieces and nephews and their spouses. Grace graduated from high school in Stettler and worked at the Stettler Independent for several years before moving to Calgary, where she took secretarial training. Grace was employed by Gulf Oil in the Land Department. She transferred to Edmonton, still working for Gulf Oil. Grace and Carl were married on October 8, 1960 in Edmonton and resided in the Edmonton area until their retirements. Since 1990 Grace and Carl have resided on the Pigeon Hills Homestead near Pigeon Lake. Grace and her happy presence will be missed by the members of her extended family and the many friends she made over her lifetime. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
