Gordon Stanley Bowen was born April 25, 1935 in Amber Valley, Athabasca, AB. He was the 6th of 7 children of Boadie and Viola Bowen. He was predeceased by his parents and sisters Mildred and Eunice and is survived by siblings Ruby, Willis, Peggy and Art.
Gordon passed into the arms of Jesus, surrounded in love by his family on August 16, 2018 following a short and sudden illness.
Gordon is survived by his loving wife Gabriela, daughters Charlotte Crier, Siobhan James, Evie Watson (Matthew) and sons Curtis (Michelle), Shane (Glenda) and Clarke. Also surviving are grandchildren Corey (Simona), Quinn (Nicole), Jordan, Jaya, Alinea, Kaden, Vanessa, Tyler, Danica, Dixon and Davyn and great grandchildren Noah, Miles and Ayanna.
Services will be held at 11 am on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at Calvary Community Church located at 8704 Millwoods Rd NW, Edmonton, AB followed by an interment at Rosehill Cemetery.
