Peacefully, at Telfer Place, on Thursday, January 11, 2018, Gordon Whiting passed away in his 96th year. Predeceased by his loving wife Jennie Houston Whiting (nee. McMillan). Cherished father of Jennifer Stuart and her husband Gordon, Paris. Loving grandfather of Shawn and his wife Melissa and Carolyn, all of Paris. Survived by his sister Ellen McAllister. Predeceased by his brothers Lewis Whiting and Danny Whiting. Survived by his sister-in-law Jean Whiting. Gordon and his late wife Jennie enjoyed many fulfilling years on the family farm in the Bethel Community.
Friends will be welcomed at the DWAYNE D. BUDGELL Funeral Home, 1105 Rest Acres Road, on Monday from 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday January 16, 2018 at 11 a.m. Pastor Jay Grimes of Cobblestone Church will officiate. Interment will follow the reception in Woodland Cemetery, Burlington, Ontario. In Gordon’s memory, donations to Organized Kaos Life and Trade would be appreciated by the family.
