Gordon “Glenn” Sparks August 31, 1931 – September 7, 2018
Glenn went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, September 7,
2018 at the age of 87. He passed away peacefully at Hospice House with
his family by his side.
Glenn worked as a poultry and grain farmer in the Calgary area for
many years. He enjoyed outdoor activities such as motorbikes, boats,
snowmobiles, quads, and especially his RV’s. He was an avid traveler with

He is survived by his loving wife Helen, son Stewart (Rea) of Calgary;
daughter Patricia (Bob) Clark, Calgary; daughter Glenda (Kevin) Hammer,
Leduc, Alberta; beloved grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and
nephews. Glenn was predeceased by his parents, brother Floyd and
grandson Garrick Million.
A celebration of his life will be held at Strathmore Alliance Church
(324-1 Avenue, Strathmore, AB) on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at
11:00 A.M.
A special thank you to Dr. Welsh, nurses and staff at the
Hemodialysis Unit of the Kelowna General Hospital. Their great care, love
and support over the past 7 years have been greatly appreciated. Also,
thank you to the Hospice House staff for your helpfulness and kindness
during dad’s short stay.
