Gordon Exton Anderson
Anderson, Gordon Exton of London (formerly of R.R. 2 Denfield) passed away peacefully in his 82nd year at Henley Place on Sunday January 28, 2018. Gord was a loving husband of 57 years to Eleanor as well as father to Beverly Shearing of London, Catherine and Greg Barker of Watford, Richard Anderson and Richard Gibson of Simcoe.
Gordon was also grandfather to Brian Anderson, Trevor, Brandon and Samantha Shearing, Steven and Alex Barker and great grandfather of 3. Gord will be missed by his brother and best friend Chester and Dinah Lee Anderson of
Belmont. He was pre-deceased by his brother Albert and Albert’s wife Marjorie of Kitchener. Gord will be remembered fondly by nieces, nephews and friends for his unique sense of humour and smile. The family wishes to thank the kind and caring staff of Henley Place for making Gord’s last days peaceful. A visitation for Gordon will be held Monday February 5, 2018 from 1pm-2pm at Memorial Funeral Home located at 1559 Fanshawe Park Road East, London, Ontario with a service to follow at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society London and Middlesex or the McCormick Dementia Services also in London.
