Glynn Ellsworth Paynter
1942-2018
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of
Glynn Ellsworth Paynter of Freetown. He passed away peacefully, at the
age of 75 years on Sunday June 24th at Prince County Hospital,
Summerside. Son of the late Reigh and Fannie (MacDonald) Paynter. He
is survived by his wife Connie Paynter (Birt), their four children Jim
Paynter (Jeanette) their two children Sarah and Shannon, Bonnie
(Clarence Gallant) and their children Dakota, Michael and Samantha
(Ryan), Robin Paynter (Pat Doyle), Scott Paynter and his girls Hannah
and Isabella and their mother Judy, as well as three
great-grandchildren, Adrianna, Adelyn and Morrison. He is also
survived by his siblings Wayne Crozier (Jean), Gordon Crozier
(Marilyn), Beverly Mayne (William), Blair Crozier (Diane), Anne
Boswell (Dale) and Charles Paynter; sisters-in law Gertrude Paynter
MacDonald, Katherine Paynter, Wilda Paynter, Jean Burt and
brother-in-law Orville Dawson (Carol). Also surviving are many nieces,
nephews and cousins.
He is predeceased by his son Trever, sister Phyllis Adams
(Bloyce), brothers and sisters Ruth (Stanford) Carr, Pearl (Morley)
Crozier, Marjorie (Colin) Burt, Hazel (Ivan) Somers, Joyce Dawson,
Hollis MacDonald, Norris, Walter, Alfred (Bessie), Arthur, Ivan, James
(Marjorie), Lowell (Esther) Paynter and Jean Paynter.
Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington. No
visitation by personal request. Funeral Wednesday at the Freetown
United Church at 10 a.m. Interment in the Freetown
People’s Cemetery. Flowers
gratefully declined. If so desired contributions may be
made to the Prince County Hospital Foundation.
