Obituary of Gloria Wolfe
WOLFE: Peacefully, with the love of her family surrounding her, at Strathmere Lodge, Strathroy, on Thursday, December 13, 2018, Gloria Patricia (Swanson) Wolfe, of Strathroy, formerly of Oakville, age 94. Beloved wife of the late Charles Murray Wolfe (1985). Loved mother and mother-in-law of Barry and Marlene Wolfe of Strathroy, Patricia Wolfe of Melrose, MASS. and Carolyn Wolfe of Strathmere Lodge. Cherished grandma of Gregory and Sarah Wolfe and Shannon and Mike Major. Treasured great-grandma of Mykenzie, Greyson, Landyn Wolfe and Maverick Major . Gloria was the last surviving member of the Swanson Family. Remembered by her many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by her parents George and Barbara (Sinclair) Swanson, siblings Alex Swanson, Helen Harrison, Anne Smith, Mariotta “Ott” Borquist, George Swanson, Don Swanson and Peter Swanson. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, with Visitation 1 hour prior to the Funeral Service which will be held on Thursday, December 20, 2018, at 11 a.m. Interment Calvary Cemetery, Dashwood. If desired, memorial donations (payable by cheque) to the Parkinson Foundation, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
