Gloria Patrica (Hicks) Sparks, passed away peacefully at The Grass Home, Riverview, NB on Tuesday, April 10th, 2018, at the age of 92.
Born in Toronto, Ontario on July 8th, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Percival and Doris (Patrickson) Hicks.
Beloved wife of the late Clifford Harold Sparks (1994).
Loving and caring mother of the late Michael (2008), Maureen, John (Dale) and Mary (Brian).
Dear grandmother of David (Susan) and Maria; Jason and Jennifer; Katie and Kelly.
Dear great grandmother of Manizeh, Mailyah, Bennet, Max and Julia.
Dear sister of Carolyn (Adrian) of Penguin, Tasmania.
She will missed and remembered by her many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She will also be remembered by Lynn and all the wonderful dedicated caring staff of The Grass Home.
In keeping with her wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service, a private memorial service will be held at St. George’s Anglican Church Chapel, Moncton, NB, at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Gloria’s memory may be made to The Greater Moncton SPCA, Alzheimer Society of New Brunswick, Breast Cancer Society or a charity of the donor’s choice.
