It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beautiful wife, mother, and grandmother, Glenna Marlene Majeau, in Mesa, Arizona. She was 73 years old.
Glenna will be forever remembered by her husband, “her rock” Ron; her two precious children, Tammy (Greg) and Darcy; and her greatest pride and joy, her grandchildren, Jaedon, Dylan, Nicholas and Alexis. Glenna will forever be in our hearts of her brother, Rodney (Alice); and sons, Cole and Tom, of Calgary.
Glenna was predeceased by her parents, Peter and Edna Ternes, of Calgary.
Born in Calgary and raised in Biesker, Glenna moved to Edmonton in 1959. At the tender age of 15, Glenna met the love of her life, Ron. They married July 10, 1965 and celebrated their 50 Wedding Anniversary on July 11, 2015 surrounded by numerous family, cousins and friends. During her time, Glenna loved going to Island Lake, Alberta looking after her cabins, where she loved to watch the birds outside her cabin window, and have neighbors, family and friends over to play cards, socialize and enjoy a big fish fry. When the weather got colder, Glenna would venture to Mesa, Arizona for only a month at a time, as she would miss her grandchildren. She enjoyed taking her family on trips where everyone could be together. Above all else, her greatest loves were her grandchildren. She was ever so proud and was never more happier when they would cuddle with her on the couch.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to the trust of Our St. Albert Boys, who lost their young lives too soon doing what they and Glenna loved, hockey.
