Glenda Marlyne Fisher

Glenda M.
Fisher, 80 years old, of Hillside View Seniors Special Care Home,
Moncton and formerly of Dundas, NB, passed away peacefully at her
residence on Sunday, April 1,
2018.
Born in Eldon,
Restigouche Co., she was the daughter of the late Rosalie and Michael
Thompson.
Glenda was a
homemaker, who loved tending to her flowers, feeding the hummingbirds
and knitting. She was a long-time member of Dundas Baptist Church and
attended Monday Bible Study Group and Christian Women’s
Club.
Glenda will be
sadly missed by her children, son, Ricky Thompson; stepchildren,
Warren Fisher (Cathy) and Debbie Maillet (Emery); seven grandchildren;
four great grandchildren; special niece, Gwen Thompson and many other
nieces and nephews.
In addition to
her parents, Glenda was predeceased by her husband, Walter Fisher
(October 2016); brothers, Wendell and Jackie Thompson; sisters, Velma
Haley and Leona Deplacie.
Visitation
will be held at Dundas Baptist Church, 3361 Route 490, McLaughlin Road
on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 from 2:00 to 3:00 pm with a service to
follow immediately after to celebrate and honour Glenda’s
life with Pastor Brock Symonds leading the service. Fellowship time to
follow the service. Interment will be held in Gladeside Cemetery later
in the spring.

under the professional care of Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain
Road, Moncton (858-1995).
