It is with great sadness, we announce the sudden passing of Glen Coutts on Friday, March 30, 2018 at 5:00 a.m., in the presence of his loving wife Gaylene and good friend Lylia Brown, at the Ste. Anne Hospital, Ste. Anne, MB.
Glen was born on March 8, 1933 at Newdale, MB, son to Stewart (Pete) and Vida Coutts. He spent the first 34 years in Newdale, then moved west with Gaylene and daughter Colleen. He worked at North West Pulp and Paper (West Fraser) in Hinton, AB for 28 years. During that time, he touched many lives and leaves loving memories with each of them.
In 1998, Glen and Gaylene retired to Ste. Anne, MB at Paradise Village and during this chapter of their lives, created many more wonderful friends and memories.
He will be greatly missed by: his wife Gaylene; daughter Colleen; son-in-law Darcy; sister Margaret; brother-in-law Randy and sister-in-law Wynne; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.
As per his request, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
I have lost my soul’s companion
A life linked with my own
And day by day I miss him more,
As I walk through life alone.
