Passed peacefully on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at the age of 71 years after a brief battle with lung cancer. Beloved wife and best friend of Michele “Mike” for 55 years. Loving mother of John (Liz), Nino (Nancy) and Lina (Bob). Cherished Nonna of Melissa, Vincenzo, Michael, Domenic, Madeline, Katrina, Christopher and Samuel. Survived by her siblings Dora (Eric), Liliana (Ernesto), Claudio (Claudia), Mario (Chris) and Anna Maria (Gerry). Predeceased by her parents Marietta and Vincenzo Fracassi and her brother Dante (Diana). Pina will be fondly remembered by her extended family and friends. Her kind heart will live on in the hearts of her family. Special thanks to Liliana, Maria, Claudio and Claudia for all the help and support you gave mom during her illness. On Friday, July 13, 2018 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Saturday, July 14, 2018 to St. Anthony of Padua Church, 427 Booth Street for Mass of Christian Funeral at 10:00 a.m. Entombment Capital Memorial Gardens. In memoriam, donations to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation would be appreciated.
