In Loving Memory
BERARDI, Giuseppe – Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the Welland Hospital on Tuesday November 27, 2018 at the age of 91. Predeceased by his wife Concetta (2013). Loving Father of Angela and John Greco and John Berardi. Dear Grandfather of Andrew (Ashley), Kevin, Shaun (Michelle), Christine (Tyler), Nathan (Michelle) Berardi. He is also survived by his brothers Angelo (Aquilina) and Silvestro (Agata) Berardi and his brothers and sisters-in law in Italy Ersilia (Elio), Loretta (Antonio), Maria (Cesare), and Elda (Sante). He will be greatly missed by all his nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews in Italy, Switzerland and Canada. Last but not least he will be missed by his 3 great-grandchildren, who always put a big smile on his face and brought out the child in him, William, Sadie and Sage. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters-in-law Sante (Maria) and Michele (Iola) Berardi. The Toronto Maple Leafs were his team, he enjoyed his vegetable garden immensely to the very end. He also enjoyed Bocce with friends and family. Let’s not forget his enjoyment of wine and beer. The family will receive friends at J.J. Patterson & Sons Funeral Residence 19 Young Street, Welland Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Vigil will be held at 2 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Church Monday at 9:30 a.m. Rite of Committal will follow at Pleasantview Mausoleum.
