Peacefully passed away surrounded by his wife and son at WRH Ouellette Campus on November 23, 2018 at the age of 87. Beloved husband of Liliana (nee Scotti) for 39 years. Loving father of Alessandro. Cherished brother of Maria (Marco) and Filomena (Lazzaro 2015). Brother in law of Marianna Busi. Predeceased by brother Giovanni (1990), Antonio (2007) and wife Margaret (1993), sister Giovanna (2005) and husband Angelo (1982). Dear Uncle of Joseph and Jimmy and their families and many nieces and nephews in Italy and Canada. Missed by many cousins in Michigan. Will also be missed by many dear friends, especially Maria Nuvoloni and late husband Luigi (2018) of Kingston. Retired from Giovanni Caboto Club after 30 years in maintenance. Long time member of 51 years of the Giovanni Caboto Club and honorary Alpino. Many thanks to the entire staff on the 4th and 8th floor at WRH Ouellette Campus for their wonderful care. Special thanks to Paolo Savio and family and Giovanni Pellegrini and Family. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel), 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E., 519-253-7234 on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 from 3-7 pm. Parish Prayers at 4:30 pm. Family and friends are asked to meet directly at St. Angela Merici Church (980 Louis Ave.) on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 for Funeral Mass at 11 am. Cremation to follow with Internment at Heavenly Rest Cemetery on a later date. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
