Gauthier, Gillette (née Sarazin) 1938-2018
The family announces with sorrow her death in Sturgeon Falls, Thursday, November 8th, 2018, at the age of 80 years. Daughter of the late Herman Sarazin and of the late Alice Sarazin (née Brault). Dear wife of Léo Gauthier of Sturgeon Falls. Cherished mother of Michel Gauthier (late Lynn) (Hélène Piquette) and Yvon Gauthier, both from Sturgeon Falls. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Jennifer (Tyler) and Patrick. Survived by her siblings Viviane (Jeff Rochon), Cora (Joe Ducharme), Hermance (late Guy Monette) (late Noël Caya), Lionel (Émilie), Rollande (André Ducharme), Prima (Gord Berry), Gilles (Fleurette) and Michelle (Mark Baker) as well as her brother-in-law Armand Gauthier (Mary) and her sister-in-law Rita Jodouin (late Clair). Predeceased by her brothers Vital (late Jacqueline) and Onil (Irène). Gillette was an active member of the Châtelaines and also loved relaxing quietly at her cottage. The family would like to thank the staff at the North Bay Regional Health Centre and the West Nipissing General Hospital for their excellent care. The family will be receive friends at Sacré-Coeur church, Sturgeon Falls, Saturday, November 17th, 2018 after 10am. Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11am. Cremation arrangements in care of Théoret Bourgeois funeral home, Sturgeon Falls. Donations to the West Nipissing General Hospital foundation (hummingbird room or the oncology department) would be appreciated.
