Obituary of Gilbert Veenendaal
The Lord, in His infinite wisdom, took His child, Gilbert Veenendaal to glory on Tuesday, January 23, 2018. Beloved husband of Grace (nee vander Sleen). Devoted father of Jenny (Roger) Vanoostveen, Evert Veenendaal (Diane), Gerard Veenendaal, Joanne (Scott) Miedema, Cherie (David) Michels, and Matthew (Robin) Veenendaal. Loving grandfather of 17 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Special thanks to the staff at Tabor Manor for their love and compassion.
Visitation will be on Friday, January 26, from 6 – 9 p.m. and funeral service will be held on January 27, 2018, at 10:30 a.m. at Immanuel United Reformed Church, Jordan. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
