Gilberte Françoise Phelan
1922-2018
It is
with heavy hearts that the family of Gilberte Françoise
(Brochu) Phelan announces her
passing on Saturday, June
9, 2018 at York Care Centre in Fredericton,
NB.
Born in
St. Magloire, QC, she was the daughter of the late Narcisse and Odelie
(Boutin) Brochu and the beloved wife of the late Robert
Phelan.
Gilberte
is survived by a son Kenneth Phelan (Marcelle) of Shawinigan, QC; a
daughter Nancy Belliveau (Victor) of Fredericton, NB; grandchildren
Valerie of Mississauga, ON, Carrie (Chris) of Fredericton, NB and
Dennis (Britta) also of Fredericton, NB; great grandchildren Cody,
Curtis, Aidan and Cullen; a sister Jacqueline Laflamme of St. George
de Beauce, QC as well as several nieces and
nephews.
In
addition to her parents and husband, Gilberte was predeceased by 11
siblings.
There
will be no visitation. A memorial service will take place on Thursday,
June 14, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the J.A. Memorial Chapel the Venerable
John Sharpe officiating. Interment will take place in Forest Hill
Cemetery. Donations in Gilberte’s memory may be made to the
Canadian Cancer Society.
