Gilbert Land, passed away on July 31, 2018 at Lake of the Woods Hospital. He was born January 4, 1948 in Kenora, ON.
He was predeceased by his dad William Land, mother Lillian land, sisters Irene Sinclair and Geraldine Land and his wife Doris Ogamah.
Gilbert is survived by his daughter Doreen, grandchildren Davidson and Jessica, great grandchildren Aubrie and Layna and his sister Elizabeth, Lydia (Richard), MaryRose (Marty), brothers Roderick (Frances) and Andrew Land, nieces Marilyn, Shirley (Steve), Eric (Michelle), Dolores (Richard), nephews Jimmy (Judy), Jerry (Terra), Randy (Dorothy), Patrick (Maggie) Everett, Jonathan (Stephanie), and Toni, Vince (Johna Joe), Emma, and Julianna and numerous nieces, great nieces and nephews. Missed by Toni and Vince Julianna. Also missed by Luna Strong and family.
Gilbert loved to hunt, travel and hangout with his family with whom he shared his great sense of humour. He loved singing to hank Williams.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 3, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Centre.
