ILIFFE, Gilbert George (Gil)
February 16, 1923 – January 10, 2018
Peacefully at Renfrew Victoria Hospital in his 95th year. Beloved husband of Ruby (Hill). Father of Karen (Gray) and Nancy (Bill). Predeceased by his brothers Frank and Laurie. Proud Grampa of Heather and Stuart, Sarah and Daniel. Proud great-grandfather of Claire, Meaghan and Thomas, Owyn and Soleil. Fond uncle of Mike. Funeral service will be held at St Paul’s Anglican Church (Argyle S and Patrick Streets) on Wednesday, January 17th at 1:30pm, following an honour ceremony led by the Royal Canadian Legion. Reception to follow downstairs in the church. Special thanks to the staff at Quail Creek for their excellent care. Donations made in Gil’s memory to The Golden Age Activity Centre in Renfrew or St Paul’s Anglican Church would be appreciated by the family.
