Gilbert Fournier
1948-2018
Gilbert Joseph Fournier of Perth-Andover, NB, passed away unexpectedly
at his home on November 29, 2018.
Gilbert was born in Green River, NB, on October 7, 1948. He was the
son of the late Fidele and Viola (Martin) Fournier. Gilbert leaves
behind his loving wife of 47 years, Gaetane Fournier (St-Pierre); his
children, Jason Fournier of Perth-Andover, NB, and Cassie LeBlanc of
Moncton, NB; his grandchildren, Kateri Fournier of Tobique First
Nation, NB, and Ethan Fournier of Perth-Andover, NB; his sisters,
Rose-Amie Wertepny of Fort Fairfield, ME, Rita Plant (Kevin) of
Perth-Andover, NB, and Judy Blanchette (Robert) of Perth-Andover, NB;
his brothers, John Fournier (Rejeanne) of Perth-Andover, NB, and Roy
Fournier (Lillian) of Perth-Andover, NB.
Gilbert was predeceased by his parents; his brother, Kenneth Fournier;
his sisters, Edwina St-Peter, Rejeanne Beaulieu, Bernadette Albert,
and Cora Eagles.
Resting at Brunswick Funeral Home with visitation on Monday from 6-8
pm. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at 11 am
from St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church. Father Curtis Sappier and
Father Gilbert Doddatto co-celebrating. Interment will be in the
parish cemetery at a later date.
For those who wish, memorial donations to the Southern Victoria Cancer
Assistance Fund or the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation would be
appreciated by the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home,
Perth-Andover.
