Trudie Friesen, 79 years old, of Steinbach, Manitoba, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 1, 2018 at Bethesda Regional Health Centre.
Trudie is survived by one son, one sister, and two brothers and was predeceased by her husband Raymond, two sons, two sisters, and one brother.
Raymond and Trudie lived in Abbotsford, BC for twenty five years from 1980 until 2005, before moving back to Steinbach.
She enjoyed reading, playing Scrabble, and doing puzzles.
For as long as her health permitted, Trudie faithfully attended Steinbach EMC church.
Trudie was an amazing woman of God. Her faith and strength were an encouragement to everyone who knew her. Her life is a testimony of patient endurance through times of intense adversity and challenge. She was indeed, as was her desire, faithful to the end.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Steinbach EMC church, with interment to follow at Heritage Cemetery. Viewing will take place at Steinbach EMC on Saturday at 9:30 a.m., prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, cards and personal notes can be given to Kent and Inga Friesen.
Special thanks to the wonderful medical staff at Bethesda Hospital, and to those who have been faithful in supporting and encouraging Trudie through the years.
