Obituary of Gerry Masterson
GERRY MASTERSON
Age 62 years
Retired from General Motors after 30+ years
It is with great sadness that the family announces his sudden passing on Monday January 15th, 2018
Beloved husband of Shirley (nee Hamilton). Loving father of Marsha (Simon) Astrop, Greg (Steph) and Darryl (Laura). Adored Bopa of Quinnly, Finley, Gabe, Jaxson and Georgia. Dear brother of Randy Masterson. Gerry was predeceased by his parents, Tom & Gladys as well as siblings Jim, Al, Linda Brown and Don. He will be sadly missed by his in-laws Les Masterson, Louise Masterson, Ginny Moore, Julie (Rob) Hoogkamp and Trevor (Darla) Hamilton. Predeceased by brothers-in-law Albert & Denver Hamilton. His nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews and countless friends will miss him greatly.
Visitation will be held at NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. N. Bowmanville on Friday January 19th, 2018 from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. JOSEPH’S ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH, 127 Liberty Street S. Bowmanville on Saturday January 20th, 2018 at 11 am. Interment Bowmanville Cemetery. Memorial Donations may be made to The Heart & Stroke Foundation.
