Obituary for Gerlando Bosco
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Gerlando (Gerry) Bosco. Born in Siculiana, Sicily, Italy on April 5, 1936, he passed away peacefully on March 29, 2018. He was predeceased by his parents Giuseppe and Giuseppa, his brothers Antonio, Giuseppe, Leonardo and his sister Mariana and Croce. Gerlando is lovingly survived by his wife Giuseppa of 57 years, daughters Josie Romeo (Mario), and Gina Carvalho (Jerry), his four loving grandchildren Francesco, Gerlando, Carissa and Joseph, his brother-in-law Francesco Bruno and many nieces and nephews. Gerlando was the patriarch of our family, he treasured the moments he spent with his four grandchildren grandchildren. He was a man like no other. He was a provider, a mentor and loved us unconditionally. He will be dearly missed and treasured forever. Prayers will be offered Wednesday, April 4 at 7:00 p.m. at Holy Cross Parish, 1450 Delta Avenue, Burnaby. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, April 5 at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will be at the South Mausoleum Ocean View Burial Park.
