Peacefully at Shalom Manor, Grimsby on Saturday, October 6, 2018. Gerda (nee Nymann), wife of the late Jan (2012), in her 89th year. Beloved mother of Rita MacGarvie of Welland, Ron and Grace of Port Colborne, Irene of Dunnville, Brenda and Bernie Prinsen of St. Catharines and Jerry of St. Catharines. Loving grandma of Ivy and Darcy Ryan, Michael and Betsy, David, Matthew and Lyndsey, Derek, Daniel and Lindsay and Jonathan and great grandma of William, Owen, Zachary, Simon, Luke and Noah. Sister of Albert and Sylvia Nymann and sister in law of Sylvia Nymann and Geert Meyerink. Predeceased by Gerrit Jan Nymann, Gesiena Meyerink, Geertien and Henry Meyerink and Jan Hendrik Nymann. Friends are invited to call at BALLARD MINOR FUNERAL HOME, 315 Broad Street East, Dunnville on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 from 6-8 pm. The funeral service will be held at Grace Reformed Church, 514 George Street, Dunnville on Wednesday, October 10 at 11 o’clock. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Dunnville.
