Obituary for
Gerda Marquardt (Pilatzke)
Beloved wife of the late Leslie Marquardt of Eganville, died peacefully at Hospice Renfrew at the age of 86.
Dear mother of Gary (Sharon) Marquardt, Eganville and Charles (Koren) Marquardt, Eganville. Also dear grandmother to James Marquardt and Murray Marquardt. Sister of Beatrice Grahl (late Edgar) Pembroke, and Linda Gauthier (late George) Deep River. Predeceased by brothers Allan (late Garda), Norman (late Marjorie), Edgar (late Ethel) and sister Florence Holtz (late Lester and late Ed Soike)
Gerda will be remembered for her love of gardening , her good home cooking which she loved to share with family, and her quiet nature. Special thanks to all of the staff at Fairfields; Assisted Living Services Marian Hill; and Hospice Renfrew, and Rev. Dan Barr for your wonderful care of Gerda and her family in both life and death.
Visitation will take place at the Zohr Family Funeral Home, Eganville on Wednesday, August 15 from 2-4pm, and 7-9pm, and Thursday, August 16 from 9:30-10:30am. A Funeral Service will be held at St. Luke Lutheran Church, Eganville Thursday, August 16, 2018 at 11am. As an expression of sympathy donations in Gerda’s memory may be made to St. Luke Lutheran Church, or Hospice Renfrew.
