Obituary of Gerald Snow
Passed suddenly but peacefully away at his residence on Friday, December 28, 2018, Gerald Snow of Freshwater, Carbonear, age 65 years. Predeceased by father: Donald; infant brother: George; parents-in-law: Hedley and Janet Harris; sister-in-law: Donna Harris. Leaving to mourn, wife: Joyce; two sons: Jerry (Melanie),Victoria and Michael (Jessica), Freshwater; three grandchildren: Mitchell, Kaitlyn, and Tyler; mother: Sophie Snow, Carbonear; one brother: Wallace (Ruby), Freshwater; brothers-in-law: Clifford Harris, Tom (Shirley) Harris, and Barry Harris (Renee); sisters-in-law: Florence (Winston) Slade and Annie (Glenn) Slade; his work family at Home Hardware, Carbonear; also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel’s Funeral Home, Carbonear on Saturday, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Sunday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Monday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Monday, December 31 at 2:00 p.m. from the United Church, Freshwater. Interment in the United Church Cemetery, Freshwater. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Gerald Snow Memorial Fund, c/o Noel’s Funeral Home, 106 Water Street, Carbonear, NL, A1Y 1A9.
