In Loving Memory
Passed away peacefully at Extendicare – Tecumseh. Predeceased by parents John and Delia and siblings Leo, Hank, Edward, Paul and Pauline. Survived by eldest sister Lucille Anne Porteous (nee Ouellette) and numerous nieces and nephews. Gerry taught music with the Windsor Separate School Board for many years and is remembered by countless students. Always a gracious and generous host for family reunions. Gerry will be greatly missed by all members of the extended family and all of those that encountered him. A funeral mass will be held at St. Simon & St. Jude Church on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at St. Simon & St. Jude Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Gerry’s name to the Scarboro Foreign Mission Society. Arrangements entrusted to Melady Funeral Home (519-728-1500).
