Jerry passed away peacefully in his sleep in the morning of May 2, 2018 at the age of 77. He was the beloved husband for 57 years to Eva Buker (Johnston). Cherished father to David (Shelly) Buker and adored grandfather of Julia. He was the oldest son of the late Alex Buker and Muriel Spence/Lackey. He will be greatly missed by all his family, friends and neighbours. Jerry is also survived by his siblings Sandra (Tom) Crosbie, Marilyn Virgin (Bruce), Barbara (Bert) Snow, Connie (Peter) Stafford, Donna Renard, Nola (Dale) Murdock, Bill, Peter (Cheryl), Kenny and Jim (Susan) Buker. Jerry will be sadly missed by brother and sister-in law Bill and Muriel Love. He was always a loving husband, father and grandfather to his only granddaughter Julia. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W., Perth on Sunday, May 6th, 2018 from 12 noon until 4:00 P.M. Funeral service will be held in St. James Anglican Church, Perth on Monday at 11:00 A.M. Interment, Elmwood Cemetery. In remembrance, contributions to the Ottawa Heart Institute or St. James Anglican Church would be would be appreciated.
