Gerald Hugh Taylor
August 2, 1930 – December 18, 2018
With great sadness, we announce the passing of « The Legend », Gerald H. Taylor on Tuesday, December 18th, 2018 at 88 years of age. Beloved husband of the late Margaret Taylor (nee Hubman) and special friend of Jean Besant. Cherished father of Karen “Kate” Taylor-Murphy, Carole Mather (Rob) and predeceased by Lori Brash (Jack) and Don Taylor. Loving grandfather of Nick Brash, Ben Brash (Teresa), Brock Taylor (Breige), Sam Murphy (Sandy), Stef Murphy, Carli Mather, Emery Mather (Jordan Man) and great grandfather of Adeline Lori Brash. Brother of the late Shirley Haye (Jim). He was « Uncle Gerry » to Lynee and will also missed by his cat Racheal. Following cremation, a visitation will be held in the MacCoubrey Funeral Home Reception Centre, 30 King Street East, Cobourg, on Saturday, December 29th from 1 to 4 p.m. A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
