Obituary for Georgina Irene Moss
It is with heavy hearts the family of Georgina Moss (Miller) announce her sudden passing on Saturday, December 30th.
“Georgie” was born February 19, 1955 in Fortune, Newfoundland. In 1969, while staying with her sister in Gander, she met her husband, Wayne Moss. They made their home in Gander where they raised their daughter, Tara. Georgie enjoyed a career working for the Gander branch of the Newfoundland Liquor Corporation for more than 30 years. After retirement she found great joy in camping and spending time with her precious girls who she loved beyond measure. Georgie loved to look after friends and family. Every visit ensured a smile and full belly.
“Georgie” is predeceased by her brothers, Sidney, Maxwell and John Miller, sister, Lorraine Kelland, father, Abraham Miller, mother, Georgina Miller, mother-in-law, Doris Moss and father-in-law, William Moss.
She will be forever missed by her loving husband, Wayne, daughter, Tara (Steve), two cherished granddaughters Manuelle (Billy) and Oliva, as well as a large circle of family and friends who all loved her dearly. She was a little woman with a huge heart.

Cremation will take place in the next few days and in keeping with her wishes, there will be no viewing or visitation. A celebration of her life will take place at a date not yet decided.
